What is the vedic walk of a monk?

At the beginning of any HumanFlow coaching program, we guide you on a walk of a monk. Its purpose is to have you practically experience the lightness of being first hand.

From the outside the walk of death is a regular, 70-minutes promenade in nature. However, during the time of this walk, we continuously keep you out of being in thought, and divert your attention toward specific body signals and regions: you see, you feel, you hear, you breath...

Your awareness is turned inward, and you simply follow our directions of focused attention. After a relatively short time something unusual happens. Your head clears out, and you experience that what is, when you are not dominated by thought: your natural state.

The beauty of the walk of a monk is its practical value. It is the basis of the following coaching lessons, because only through the practical experience most people truly understand that mindfulness and inner balance are not the result of intellectual understanding and active doing. A new, powerful access to yourself opens up. Calmness and personal balance are its company. Fear, pressure and exhaustion cannot maintain their influence in its presence.

During the subsequent coaching units, we deepen the walk of a monk experience. We also simplify and challenge the normal state, in order for you to live your daily life as fully, as if every moment is your first and your last one.

You will know during the walk, why this walk is also called the walk of death, although their won't be any physical challenge.

The walk of a monk is only the beginning of a journey, but there is more...
